澳大利亚阿德莱德大学Shaobin Wang教授访问环境学院并作学术报告

应环境学院曾光明教授、汤琳教授的邀请，澳大利亚阿德莱德大学Shaobin Wang教授于2018年11月18日来我校访问，并在环境馆三楼学术报告厅做了题为“Carbocatalysis as a Green Process for Water Treatment”的精彩报告。报告主要就过硫酸盐催化活化的方法和机理以及催化剂的选择、制备和改性等方面进行了深入的阐述和讨论。
曾光明教授和汤琳教授主持了本次报告会。环境学院刘玉棠教授、黄彬彬副教授、晏铭助理教授、赖萃助理教授、王佳佳助理教授、湖南大学物电学院鲁兵安教授和长沙学院生物环境与工程系庞娅助理教授等与部分博士生、硕士生、本科生参与了交流活动。报告会现场气氛十分活跃，师生就活化过硫酸盐处理环境污染物的反应机理及碳基催化剂的设计与制备等方面与Shaobin Wang教授进行了深入的讨论与交流。
Shaobin Wang教授个人简介：
Prof. Shaobin Wang graduated from Peking University with degrees of B.Sc and M. Sc. and obtained Ph.D from the University of Queensland (Australia). He was a John Curtin Distinguished Professor at Curtin University and is now a full Professor at School of Chemical Engineering, University of Adelaide (Australia). His research interests focus on synthesis and application of nanomaterials for carbon dioxide utilization, energy conversion, and environmental remediation. He has published over 400 refereed journal papers with over 20,000 citations and an H-index of 81 and served as an editorial board member for several international journals. Prof. Wang is an Elsevier/Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher in the areas of Environmental Science and Technology/Engineering.
