               王冬波,四川泸县人,环境工程博士、博士后,教授、博士生导师,湖南大学环境学院副院长。湖南省自然科学一等奖获得者,入选2020/2021中国高被引学者、湖南省科技创新领军人才、湖南省“百人计划”、湖南省“湖湘英才计划”、湖湘高层次人才聚集工程等。
   先后于2004、2007和2011年获湖南大学工学学士、硕士及博士学位;并先后在同济大学、澳大利亚昆士兰大学进行为期 5 年的博士后研究工作,主要从事水污染控制、污泥资源化、温室气体减排、新型污染物在环境中的影响等方面的研究工作。在污水控制工程、环境微生物学及生物化学等方面具有扎实的理论基础和丰富的工程经验:主持国家自然科学基金(面上项目1项、青年基金1项)、湖南省杰出青年基金、中国博士后基金特别资助、一等资助、江苏省自然科学基金、上海市博士后基金等多项课题;参与了国家863、国家自然科学基金创新群体、面上项目、澳大利亚Discovery Project等多项国内外重要研究课题,在Trends in Biotechnology、Applied Catalysis B: Environmental、Environmental Science & Technology、Water Research、Biotechnology and Bioengineering等国际著名SCI期刊上发表论文 200 多篇(其中第 1 或通讯作者 146篇),H-index 67(截至2022-12-8),环境领域权威期刊Environ. Sci. Technol. 5篇、Water Res. 28篇,2篇研究论文入选中国百篇最具影响国际学术论文(2017年、2019年);担任《中国给水排水》青年编委会编委、Editorial Board of Scientific Reports、Guest Editor of Water (ISSN 2073-4441),是Environmental Science & Technology、Applied Environmental Microbiology、Water Research、Biotechnology and Bioengineering、Bioresource Technology等50多个国际期刊审稿人;获授权发明专利 15 项;作为技术负责人(或主要技术人员)主持/参与了多项实际污水(固体废物)处理(处置)的设计、施工、现场调试与验收工作。
