   工学博士,二级教授,博士生导师,现任湖南大学环境科学与工程学院院长,环境生物与控制教育部重点实验室主任,国务院学位委员会第八届学科评议组成员,国家重点研发计划项目首席科学家。主要从事固体废物资源化、环境污染物动态传感监测、河流湖泊污染湿地修复等领域研究。

   先后主持国家重点研发计划项目、国家优秀青年科学基金、国家创新人才推进计划、湖南省重点研发计划、教育部新世纪优秀人才计划等,作为主要参与人参与了国家自然科学基金创新群体项目、国家自然科学基金重点项目、教育部创新团队项目、“863”计划等科研项目研究。

   研究成果:
  获2017年国家自然科学奖二等奖、2009年度国家技术发明奖二等奖、2016年度湖南省自然科学奖一等奖、2008年度湖南省科技进步奖一等奖(发明奖类)、2007年度湖南省科技进步奖一等奖;全国百篇优秀博士学位论文提名论文、湖南省优秀博士学位论文。以第一/通讯作者在Chemical Society Reviews、Progress in Materials Science、Environmental Science & Technology、Water Research、 Applied Catalysis B-Environmental等高水平SCI源刊上发表论文150余篇,H-Index 74;以第一发明人获授权国家发明专利40余项;主编著作1部,参与编写著作3部。
