Water Research is a journal sponsored by the International Water Association (IWA). It is one of the two top journals in the field of environment (the other is EST) and one of the 82 source journals of Nature Index (EST is also). It has extensive influence in the field of environment and ecology, with an impact factor of 13.4. Each year, the WR publishes about 1,500 papers, and no more than 50 review papers. It is very difficult for review papers to be accepted and published by WRS.
