韩国高丽大学Xiao Yang博士访问环境学院并作学术报告

| 应环境学院汤琳教授、王佳佳助理教授邀请，韩国高丽大学Xiao Yang博士于2019年12月11日来我校访问，并在环境馆三楼学术报告厅进行了题为“Biochar characterization and impact of biochar physicochemical properties on environmental remediation and potential ecological risks”的精彩报告，深入阐述了生物炭的性质与其环境修复性能之间的关系，讨论如何将生物炭的实验室研究推广到大规模的实际应用。 汤琳教授主持了本次报告会。环境学院王佳佳助理教授、谭小飞助理教授、湖南农业大学周耀渝教授及部分博士生、硕士生、本科生参与了交流活动。报告会现场气氛十分活跃，师生们就生物炭的性质与其环境修复性能之间的关系及其环境风险等方面与Xiao Yang博士进行了深入的讨论与交流。 Xiao Yang博士个人简介： Dr. Xiao Yang’s academic background covers materials chemistry and environmental science. His research interest focuses on carbon-based sustainable materials for their use in environmental remediation or new multifunctional biochar-based material development, especially biocharrelated work in management of emerging pollutants and novel biochar for valorisation of biowaste into value-added products. Dr. Xiao has published more than 20 peer-reviewed journal papers, most of which are in mainstream environmental engineering and chemistry journals including J. Hazard. Mater., ACS Sustain. Chem. Eng. and Sci. Total Environ. etc. He received a score of 24.98 in Researchgate and cited by 255 (based on Google Schloar). He also regularly reviews manuscripts for leading international journals for environmental science (Crit. Rev. Environ. Sci. Technol, Environ. Pollut., Chemosphere), environmental engineering (J.
